Terrance Jacobs, CEA (USPAP 2020) ext. 225

Terrance is the CEO of TCL and manages all new dealings with potential clients. He continues to introduce crucial improvements to the company increasing productivity and awareness of the services the business provides. He is well connected with key dealers and other asset management groups and is the point man for all joint partner relations and new business.

Terrance is a Certified Appraiser with the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and is a Candidate of the American Society of Appraisers; while shepparding the appraisal Team, Terrance remains engaged in our appraisal and audit assignments.

Terrance is actively involved with many of our industries leading associations. He sits on the Industrial Auctioneers Association Board of Directors as Past President, is a Board Member of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and the Machinery Dealers National Association; providing input and direction governing the standards of professional practice and ethical conduct of our profession.

Terrance’s ability to communicate his depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for each project provides our client’s with the assurance, understanding and confidence in each project’s success.

Norman Jacobs (USPAP 2010) ext. 228

Norman founded TCL (Trans-Canada Liquidations Ltd.) in 1957. As TCL’s commander and chief for over 40 years, Norman developed the company into one of Canada premier asset management firms. 

Norman is extremely well known throughout the business community and banking sector. His experience, which spans over 60 years, as an auctioneer and negotiator and his depth of knowledge of our industry remain an invaluable resource to the company. Norman co-founded and is the current Chairman of the Machinery Dealers National Association – Canadian Chapter.

Norman also directs TCLs various philanthropic activities. Norman continues to ensure that TCL practices good corporate citizenship and is a positive contributor to our community.

At 92 years young, Norman is still deeply involved with company, mentoring and guiding our team members, old and new.

Andrew Curran, CEA (USPAP 2020) ext. 223

With over 30 years of experience in appraising machinery and equipment, Andrew is a seasoned veteran when it comes to valuations in the following industries: Machine Tools, Plastic, Woodworking, Food Processing, Printing, Transportation and Pulp and Paper.

Andrew is also a regular instructor for the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group and a graduate of the Southwestern Ontario School of Auctioneering.

Andrea Green, Vice President of Real Estate ext. 226

Andrea is responsible for the growth and expansion of TCL's Real Estate division, Real Estate Auctions Limited (REAL). She manages the process of all of our residential, industrial and commercial Real Estate Auctions and oversees all commercial leasing activity. Whether the property is distressed or the turn around time is critical, Andrea offers an innovative approach and options to our real property clientele.

As Comptroller, Andrea manages all of our accounting, bookkeeping and financial reporting requirements; ensuring budgets are adhered to and providing detailed and accurate reconciliation reports to our clients.

Andrea is fluent in both French and English and is involved with the development of new projects in the Quebec region.

Peter Keeley, CEA (USPAP 2020) ext. 222

Peter is a Certified Appraiser with the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and is current with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice accreditation. Along with our Appraisal Team, Peter is engaged in the valuation of equipment and machinery appraisal practice; providing objective valuation services to our industrial, commercial and financial clientele.

As a Project Supervisor and Remarketing Agent, Peter travels throughout the year overseeing our auction and liquidation projects; managing and coordinating human resources, OHS compliance, administrative, security and logistical requirements as the project demands. Peter works closely with our clients, customers, and multiple service providers to ensure each project is a success.

With a background in Marketing, Peter also plays a key role in market research, identifying target markets, developing strategic marketing and communication plans, and implementing web-based and traditional advertising campaigns; meeting marketing objectives and optimizing the marketing budgets for our clients.

Peter's diverse background and dedication to the success of every one of our projects makes him one of our most valued assets!

Josie Alulio ext. 221

As Director of Marketing, Josie manages all advertising and marketing communications for our auction and liquidation projects; developing, purchasing, implementing, managing and monitoring targeted web-based and traditional advertising campaigns. Josie has developed close and effective working relationships with key advertising professionals to prioritize ad placement and streamline costs; maximizing advertising engagement and budgets for our clients.

As Project Administrator/Office Manager, Josie plays a key role in the development and execution of project proposals; projecting costs, developing budgets, timelines and goals for all of our sales projects.

Josie has achieved B.A. in Economics from York University. Prior to joining our team in 2011, Josie spent 15 years working at a Commercial Bank as a Business Accounts Manager.

 

Kevin Diep

Kevin started with Our Group in 2016 as the Site Manager for our Edmonton, Alberta warehouse. Since that time, Kevin has been involved in various projects as Site Supervisor and assisting Senior Appraisers working in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Northern Ontario and Eastern Quebec.

Derek Ghartey (USPAP 2021)

Derek joined the TCL team in April 2019. Having recently graduated from York University, Derek initially started his career in retail before joining TCL. Derek is our Project Co-Ordinator and primarily works in remarketing assets from our Leasing partners, assisting Senior Appraisers with evaluations and asset audits,  and setting up and supervising removal at our auction sales.  Derek has quickly become an invaluable TCL team member.

Amber-Starr Boissoneau

As the newest addition to the TCL team, Amber-Starr moved from Hornepayne, Ontario previously employed with the Municipality as a Project Coordinator for a committee established by the Township to serve as a communication resource to Mayor, elected council and the community with information received from the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO). Her and her husband are proud aboriginal natives to Garden River First Nation also known as Ketegaunseebee, an Ojibwe band of the Robinson Huron Treaty with deep roots in the reserve land and extensive family history.

After her husband successfully obtained a downtown Toronto career, the whole family moved to York Region area. She is welcomed now as a valuable, efficient and organized individual who works directly with our Office Manager and aids in bringing new perspectives and guiding day-to-day activities within the office and to On-Site Supervisors/Staff outside of the office.
