Terrance Jacobs, CEO, CEA Certified Appraiser (USPAP 2020) ext. 225

Terrance is the CEO of TCL and manages all new dealings with potential clients. He continues to introduce crucial improvements to the company increasing productivity and awareness of the services the business provides. He is well connected with key dealers, end user purchasers and other asset management groups and is the point man for all joint partner and new business relations.

Terrance is a Certified Appraiser with the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and is a Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers; while managing the appraisal Team, Terrance remains involved in our certified appraisal and asset audit assignments.

Terrance is actively involved with many of our industry's leading associations. He sits on the Industrial Auctioneers Association Board of Directors as Past President, is a Board Member of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and the Machinery Dealers National Association; providing input and direction governing the standards of professional practice and ethical conduct of our profession.

Terrance’s enthusiasm for each and every one of our projects and his ability to communicate his industry knowledge assures our client’s with the confidence and understanding of their project’s success!

Norman Jacobs, COB (USPAP 2010) ext. 228

Norman founded TCL (Trans-Canada Liquidations Ltd.) in 1958. As TCL’s commander in chief for over 40 years, Norman developed TCL into one of Canada's premier asset management firms. 

Norman is extremely well known throughout the business community and banking sector. His experience, which spans over 60 years, as an auctioneer and negotiator and his depth of knowledge of our industry remain an invaluable resource to the company. Norman co-founded and is the current Chairman of the Machinery Dealers National Association – Canadian Chapter.

Norman also directs TCLs various philanthropic activities. Norman continues to ensure that TCL practices good corporate citizenship and is a positive contributor to our community.

At 92 years young, Norman is still deeply involved with company, mentoring and guiding our team members, old and new!

Andrea Green, CFO, Vice President of Real Estate ext. 226

Andrea is responsible for the growth and expansion of TCL's Real Estate division, Real Estate Auctions Limited (REAL). She manages the process of all of our residential, industrial and commercial Real Estate Auctions and oversees all commercial leasing activity. Whether the property is distressed or the turn around time is critical, Andrea offers an innovative approach and options to our real property clientele.

As CFO, Andrea is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company. Her duties include financial monitoring, tax collection and submissions, day to day expense reporting as well as project cost analyses and implementation. She is also responsible for monitoring Auction Sales, collecting all sales proceeds as well as preparing the final sale reconciliation.

Andrea is fluent in both French and English and is involved with the development of new projects in the Quebec region.

Andrea's attention to detail and eye for discrepencies assures our Clients of a reliable and accurate accounting of the project!

Andrew Curran, CEA Certified Appraiser (USPAP 2020)

With over 40 years of experience buying, selling and appraising machinery and equipment, Andrew is a seasoned veteran when it comes to asset valuations. Andrew's knowledge spans the breadth of all industrial sectors, but he is a specialist in the following industries: Machine Tools, Plastic, Woodworking, Food Processing, Printing, Transportation and Pulp and Paper.

Andrew is actively involved in our industry associations and sits as a Representative of the Machinery Dealers National Association - Canadian Chaper. Andrew is also a regular instructor for the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group and a graduate of the Southwestern Ontario School of Auctioneering.

Andrew's exposure, experience and intimate knowledge of the capital equipment market is unmatched in the machinery valuation profession!

Peter Keeley, CEA Certified Appraiser (USPAP 2020) ext. 222

Peter is a Certified Appraiser with the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and is current with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice accreditation. Along with our Appraisal Team, Peter is engaged in the valuation of equipment and machinery appraisal practice; providing objective valuation services to our industrial, commercial and financial clientele.

As a Project Supervisor, Peter travels throughout the year overseeing our auction, liquidation and decommissioning projects; managing and coordinating human resources, OHS compliance, administrative, security and logistical requirements as the project demands. Peter works closely with our clients, customers, and multiple service providers to ensure each project is a success.

Peter's diverse background and dedication to the success of every one of our projects makes him one of our most valued assets!

Josie Alulio, Director of Marketing ext. 227

As Director of Marketing, Josie manages all advertising and marketing communications for our auction and liquidation projects; conducting market research, identifying target markets, developing strategic marketing and communication plans, purchasing, implementing, managing and monitoring integrated web-based and traditional advertising campaigns. Josie has developed close and effective working relationships with key advertising professionals to prioritize ad placement and streamline costs; meeting marketing objectives and optimizing the marketing budgets for our clients.

As Project Administrator/Office Manager, Josie plays a key role in the development and execution of project proposals; projecting costs, developing budgets, timelines and goals for all of our sales projects.

Prior to joining our team in 2011, Josie spent 15 years working at a Commercial Bank as a Business Accounts Manager. Her experience working within the financial sector has proven crucial when advising buyers at Auction Sales and with the collection of funds.

Josie's passion for customer service and commitment to each of our projects is invaluable to the success of all of our projects!

Kevin Diep, Site Manager

Kevin started with Our Group in 2016 as the Site Manager for our Edmonton, Alberta warehouse. Since that time, Kevin has been involved in various projects as Site Manager and assisting Senior Appraisers working in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Northern Ontario and Eastern Quebec.

Derek Ghartey, CPPA Certified Appraiser (USPAP 2021) ext. 223

Derek joined the TCL team in April 2019, having recently graduated from York University. Derek initially started his career in sales before joining TCL, and brings those skills to his role remarketing recovered and off-lease assets from our Leasing partners; developing leads, generating viable offers, negotiating and closing sales and maximising returns for our Clients.

Derek is a certified appraiser with the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group and is studying for, and will soon achieve, his certification with the AMEA.

Derek is also engaged as a Site Supervisor; setting up and supervising removal at our industrial auction sales. Derek will soon complete our NEW comprehensive Site Supervisor OH&S training program through the Occupational Safety Group Inc.

Through Derek's keen interest, studiousness and hard work, he has quickly become an invaluable TCL team member!

Amber-Starr Boissoneau, Project Coordinator ext. 221

As the newest addition to the TCL team, Amber-Starr moved from Hornepayne, Ontario; previously employed with the Municipality as a Project Coordinator for a committee established by the Township to serve as a communication resource to Mayor, elected council and the community with information received from the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO).

Amber-Starr and her family are proud aboriginal natives to Garden River First Nation, also known as Ketegaunseebee, an Ojibwe band of the Robinson Huron Treaty with deep roots in the reserve land and extensive family history. After her husband successfully obtained a downtown Toronto career, the whole family moved to York Region.

Amber-Starr is our Project Co-ordinator; bringing new perspectives and working directly with our Office Manager guiding day-to-day activities within the office and with on-site staff outside of the office.

Amber-Starr is welcomed now as a invaluable, efficient and organized member of the TCL Team!
