PRIVATE NEGOTIATED SALE

TCL Asset Group Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to manage the sale of surplus assets from the Stornoway Diamonds (Canada) Inc. Renard Diamond Mine Site (Renard Mine). Assets sales feature Millions of Dollars in Assets in “Red Zone” Diamond Process Recovery, Mine Hoisting Operations, Underground/Surface Electrical Support & Related, FAR Surface Infrastructure, Rolling Stock as well as Site-Related Machinery and Inventory

The site is located approx. 800 km north of Montreal, Quebec in the James Bay region. The Renard Mine is one of only five diamond mines in Canada, and the only diamond mine in the Province of Quebec. In 2023, Deloitte Restructuring Inc. was engaged in their capacity as the monitor in the CCAA proceeding of Stornoway. The mine was placed in care and maintenance in March 2025.

TCL will be conducting a Liquidation of the Diamond Recovery Facility and Tomra Sorting System over the course of the next six months. Concurrently, TCL will hold an Online Auction scheduled for August 2025. Assets available during the auction phase include rolling stock, underground substations, switch gear, pumping stations, FAR surface infrastructure, mine hoists, inventory of wire and cable, and related underground machinery and equipment.

In additional to the above and below assets, TCL is currently also offering the sale the following additional assets from the mine site. Assets include:

• Complets Process Plant including, crusher, ball mills, HPGR, transfer conveyor, pumps, holding tanks, etc.. 
•  MIne Camp and related assets such as potable water system, compressors, etc.

LOCATION OF ASSETS:

The Renard Diamond Mine, located in the James Bay region of Quebec, is accessible by road via the Route 167 extension. This all-season road connects the mine to the communities of Mistissini and Chibougamau, and ultimately to the provincial highway network. The final 97 km section, is known as the Renard Mine Road. Please contact our office for details on how to obtain road and mine access.
