TCL Asset Group Inc. will be selling the Surplus Assets of Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials from their Guelph, Ontario facility.  The sale features an Integrated Non-Woven Production and Lamination Line - Thermoplastic Composites Production and Finishing Line.

The front end of the line includes well maintained 2006 non-woven textile fleece equipment. The equipment was designed to process polymer based fibres with or without glass fiber. This complete & turnkey system has four (4) bale openers with integrated chopping & weighing, finer opener for improved mixing, high speed output carding, cross-lapper, and needle loom with top &/or bottom punch.  The closed loop measurement equipment supports this highly uniform and consistent nonwoven fleece.  The equipment is capable to produce maximum fleece width of 2.5m with area weights ranging from 500 gsm to 2200 gsm.  Line output rates range from 500 kg/hr to 875 kg/hr.  

The back end of the line includes well maintained 2006 lamination equipment with Oven (lengthened +2 0m in 2018) and Thermofix equipment.  The equipment was uniquely designed to process a thermoplastic composite polymer based nonwoven fleece into a semi-consolidated sheet.  The multi-layer PTFE double belt laminator produced final sheet thickness between 1.5mm to 8 mm.  Additionally, the line has 4(four) tension-controlled unwinders on top and bottom.  These support the introduction and lamination of films & scrims to bond to the nonwoven fleece.  This allows the customer to bond (chemically or mechanically) to similar or dissimilar materials.  These sheets were typically sold into automotive market (interior parts) or building & construction market (wood/plywood replacement).  The line produced a finished width of 2.438m or 8’.  The addition of shear (width) & guillotine (length) cutters allows the flexibility to produce a sheet size unique to customer specifications.
